Why summer is the hungriest season for some US kids
First-grade graduate Isaac Mejia describes what’s good and bad about his summer camp in D.C. Watching movies: super fun. Swim time: pretty good. Eating broccoli at lunch: worst “by far.” Sometimes he spits it out, and sometimes he eats it. Even Isaac’s small bites of healthy food are more than many of his neighbors eat in the summertime.
