Contemporary Chris Daubert
Chris Daubert is an artist, teacher, and curator who lives in California’s Central Valley. He has exhibited his drawings, paintings, and large multi-media installations locally, nationally, and internationally for many years. He has organized and curated over one hundred exhibitions in nonprofit, college, and university art galleries. He served as the chairman of the exhibition committee at the Center for Contemporary Art, Sacramento, and as the Director of the Gregory Kondos Gallery in the Department of Art and Art History at Sacramento City College, where he taught, for 20 years.
Figurative Jennifer Pochinski
Jennifer Pochinski is an American figurative painter. Her work is characterized by gestural marks and color. Relationships, the male-female power dynamics, and humanity are key themes in her work. She was raised in Hawaii and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Hawaii in painting in 1991. Since late 2010, she has been living and working in California, exhibiting in Sacramento and San Francisco. She has also shown her work in New York, London, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Her work has appeared in the Paris Review and Huffington Post.
Landscapes Miles Hermann
Miles Hermann is a native Californian, born in Los Angeles, educated in San Francisco, and based in Sacramento. For over 30 years, Miles has been exhibiting in galleries throughout Northern California and working on commissions for private clients, publications and large organizations. Beloved for his vivid landscapes, figures, and still-life paintings, Hermann has won awards and is widely collected across the globe.
Photography Donald Satterlee
Donald Satterlee has operated a commercial photography studio in Sacramento for many years. His work bridges both commercial and fine art photography, and he has received awards from noteworthy organizations such as the New York Art Directors Club and The West Coast Show. The art collections of Kaiser and UC Davis contain many of his works along with the Hyatt Regency and Fairmont Hotels. Donald has judged the California State Fair Fine Arts photography competition as well as Youth Industrial Arts photography and Sacramento County Fair photography competitions.
Sculpture Gioia Fonda
Gioia Fonda is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in two-dimensional media (painting, drawing, sewing, and photography) with forays in sculpture, performance, new media, and public art. Fonda has a bi-coastal art education, having received her BFA at California College of the Arts, Oakland (1996) and her MFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York (1999). She is a beloved full-time tenured professor of two-dimensional studies in the Fine Arts Department at Sacramento City College. A resident member of Verge Center for the Arts, Fonda is a dedicated member of the Sacramento art community contributing as artist, occasional curator, jurist, and collaborator.
Still Life Cecily Hastings
For 25 years, INSIDE Sacramento Publication's Cecily Hastings has featured local artists’ work on its covers, as well as in open studio features, and gallery listings. Cecily brings her interior design background and aesthetic to the publication and supports many regional arts organizations.
